Climate Change
At ALMS360, we recognize the urgent need to address climate change and protect our environment for future generations. Raising Awareness
Alms Thousand Tree Project
The Alms Thousand Tree – Climate Change Project (2018) was implemented by ALMS 360 Trust in collaboration with the Local Government of Rahim Yar Khan as part of its commitment to environmental sustainability and climate resilience. The project commenced on 3rd July 2018 and was officially sponsored by the City Mayor of Rahim Yar Khan.
Under this initiative, the ALMS 360 team successfully planted 2,000 trees across various locations in Rahim Yar Khan, despite the challenging conditions of peak summer. In addition to plantation activities, the project included environmental awareness sessions in schools and colleges, aimed at educating young individuals about climate change, environmental protection, and sustainable practices. This initiative directly supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 13: “Take Urgent Action to Combat Climate Change and Its Impacts.” Through tree plantation and community awareness, ALMS 360 Trust continues to contribute toward building a greener, healthier, and more sustainable future.
